A Wandrian Press series
a sprawling saga of literary supernatural horror
by Prashant Kaw
"Walk beside the eternal, never upon it. What you ride, you will break. What you accompany, will carry you home."
The Auraboros Cycle is a saga about memory. Not as record. As geometry: what shape memory takes when it is carried across centuries, whose hands it passes through, and what it does to those hands.
It begins with a man returning home for a funeral in a small New England town, and finds, as such returns often do, that home has been waiting for him. The land remembers. The stones remember. Something older than either is beginning to.
The Cycle carries a thesis about shadow work at cosmological scale: the damage you do not deal with grows, and doing the work to face it has a cost as large as the universe.
The Cycle
Book I
every echo hides a shadow
A man returns to Bedford, Massachusetts for his parents' funeral and finds the town has been waiting for him. A dog killed by coyotes that move like something is driving them. A keystone pulled from the lake that hums at a frequency you can feel in your teeth. And a name the news has begun using, the Warlock, that the neighbors remember calling him too.
